A lot of times after work, my husband comes home and then leaves to go to the park to walk the track. One afternoon I came home and found this…

A Spouse Note by Nathan V.

My wife left this for me to find when she went to L.A. with her girlfriends. When she’s away, I eat rather sparingly; mostly tuna fish sandwiches — two times a day or more.

The team of experts she’s referring to is the team of experts that works on those TV design shows that come and remodel your house while you’re away. I was in the (very long) process of building her a larger closet, and almost finished. I guess she was a little excited.

A Spouse Note by Jim Renaud

My wife, Christie is pregnant with our second child and was a little grumpy. The grumpy squirrel reference comes from one of our daughter Maya’s favorite TV shows, Jack’s Big Music Show.

A Spouse Note by Melissa McPhaden

My husband wrote this note for me while I was getting ready for work one morning. He left it in my jacket pocket, and I found it during lunch that day.
The “Natasha” in the note is our daughter. The reverse side of note was scribbles.

A Spouse Note by Nathan V

I think this stationery is intended for a different kind of note…

“Ning” is a shortening of a nickname I received from my two-year old nephew six years ago. “Yer” should be self-explanatory.

A Spouse Note by AMP

The note was left on the kitchen table next to my husband’s phone.

I am the gadget guru in our house. Hence, I recognized the phrase, “phone has issues?!” as a plea for assistance with said phone. I rescued said phone and plugged it in to the charger.

The letters L. U. mean Love You.

After 17 months of being together, I finally cooked for him, the ex-chef. One-and-a-half months before the wedding, he managed to organize a boatload of papers into file boxes. (There was another boatload the next year.)

After leaving for work the last three mornings, I noticed the attic light was on — so I called to get a reminder from the wifey.

Also, had to mail out the Mother’s Day card, eh?
